The Purpose of the Journey

There is a strong light that came to me during our travels.  This strong realization was connected with the angels who visited Sodom to see if there were even five righteous souls remaining in the city.  After the angels left, Sodom was destroyed by fire.  In our journeying, and our visitation to a number of cities, we had to report that we did not find five righteous souls in the entire journey.  Instead, we found a grand plastic society, full of cold and heartless communities.  We found many who were only taking advantage of the other, everyone demanding his cookie.  In all, the society lives in a grand fantasy, not able to discern fact from fiction.

I was impressed that we were visiting “the city” for the last time.  Seven of us made the journey and our visit was hauntingly similar to Ezekiel 8 and 9.  In Ezekiel 8 the “Son of man” was shown the condition of the city.  He was shown one abomination after another.  Then, six others took their destroying weapon and judged the city.  The destroying weapon is one’s sword, and the sword is the word of God.  The sword was used with various souls on our trip and it was used against the institutions we saw as of no moral worth, especially the religious ones.

This trip was used to put the visual documentation of present truth into a movie for everyone to witness, but our journey was also used for judgment in a very present and face to face way.  We visited the stores of the people of this land.  We spent time in their motels.  We sojourned in their campgrounds.  We spoke with their people and carried on our business as they would.  We saw nothing to stir the heart to love of the Father.  We saw no conviction. Everything was geared to stir the heart to fantasy and jealousy. Even the churches were desolate.  They all celebrated, but they took no celebration away from their celebration service and back to their homes and jobs.  Modern churches have worship that is like refined sugar.  They drink the sugar water and leave the nutrients of religion behind.  Their “heavenly” bread is white bread, all of the nutrients refined out of it so that there is no work for the digestion, no conviction of need.  The culture is desolate and useless, except for war and famine.

The people do not want the truth, or anything approximating it.  Their churches are houses of noise that they call “celebration” but they know not the Spirit of my Father, and they do not want to know it.  They want to beat their drums and sing their songs, clapping their hands, dancing their dances, but they worship demons and know it not.  This is my judgment, and the judgment of those who were sent out into the earth with me.  Look, their house is left to them a desolation, for they have intentionally rejected the light that was sent to them.  They willingly remained ignorant of my coming.

The picture here is one taken in a Seventh-day Adventist church.  The pastor is the woman on the left dancing a celebration dance with someone. This is strangely reminiscent of the verse of Scripture which so vividly describes the ramifications of apostasy and false praise. “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.” Rev. 17:3.  This is a clear revelation of all apostate Christianity.  It is where it has all gone.  There is only one way to let the people praise Him, and that is to bring the people to a knowledge of their sins, and to repentance.  When a soul does this, that soul will “Praise Him.”

The celebration of those in these modern churches feels good, and seems natural to them, but it is a celebration void of conviction.  The knowledge of one’s own natural, spiritual deformity is primary, and before the gift of celebration, which comes out of the rejoicing over the righteousness of Christ newly found in the soul.  Many today “praise the Lord” just before they tie bombs on themselves to blow up their enemies.  Praising in this way may unite some souls in Babylon, but they cannot be truly united in Spirit.  We saw much celebration and noise, but the countenance of some souls in these congregations was not bright, but sad and dark.  Holy conviction is all that will bring true rejoicing to the soul, and all that will ultimately fulfill it.  Apostate Christianity kills the prophets, by rejecting the message of conviction and accepting the message of celebration only.  The first wave will take away all souls who have built their houses on this sandy bottom.

Ezekiel then shows what comes from the judgment pronounced.  In Ezekiel chapter 10 the glory leaves the temple. No more spiritual light remains, but only a hollow void. In chapter 11 the people are delivered into the hands of strangers, as the events of judgment unfold.  In the churches, we saw the same things here described.  The churches have been delivered into the hands of strangers who are strangers to the truth and to the Spirit.  This is because the people love a lie and rejoice in it. Cause and effect, wheels within wheels, take their turn.  Even now we see the nation itself delivered into the hands of strangers (terrorists), and the judgment commences.  When the churches fail, then so will the nation.

“Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city: which say, The Judgment is not near, let us build more houses: this city is the kettle and we will be the flesh in the kettle.  ...Therefore thus says the Lord God; Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the kettle, but I will bring you out of the kettle to judge you.  You have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, says the Lord God.  I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers and will execute judgments among you.”

In a very graphic and fulfilling way this has occurred.  The many young men and women who are now in the military in Iraq, were once in their safe kettle within the city.  Now they are out of the kettle, and judgments are executed on them everyday.  Everyday strangers take their lives and bring plagues upon them.  All around the world young Americans who were taught of the American way, are now out of the kettle of their homeland, receiving the just rewards of those who love evil.  Pestilence is poured out upon them, not only from their avowed enemies, but from their own commanders.  They were only flesh that was in the kettle, but now they are used as food for worms.

Then completing chapter 12, in the last few verses Ezekiel writes: “And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, what is that proverb that you have in the land..., saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision fails?  Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in the land; but say to them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.  For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the land.  For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, says the Lord God.  Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, behold, they of the land say, The vision that he sees is for sometime in the future, and he prophesies of the times that are far off.  Therefore say unto them, Thus says the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.”

In Ezekiel 14, Verses 22 and 23, we are told of the remnant that would remain, and we would be comforted because we could see the cause and effect relationship between those who do evil and those who get the results of that evil.  The Father shows us that He does nothing without a cause.

We searched the land but we found no intercessors within it.  Ezekiel says, “I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me, for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Eze. 22:30.

There are those who presume they might enter into the promise while being married to another.  It is written: “Thus says the Lord God; no stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.” (44:9).  “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” This is to say, “Blessed are the undivided hearts, for they are married to God, since they see Him as He is.”

There are some who say they are mine, but their heart is drawn away.  My bride is never, ever drawn after peace and safety, but she continually ascends higher and higher with me.  My children are committed to me, and they never pine away in their hearts after some other “pleasant” land. They do not tire of the Holy Spirit’s conviction.  They are drawn to the deep burning of His love.

My bride does not flirt in her heart and mind with those whose eyes undress her, or who hate righteousness.  She does not strut and dance in her heart in the presence of other lovers.  It is written:  “Moreover the Lord says, Because the daughters of Zion are puffed up with their own self-importance, and walk with stretched out necks and eyes that desire other lovers, walking and mincing as they go for affect, and so that others will notice, and making a tinkling with their feet: Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will uncover their private parts and everyone will see them as naked.  ...And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. Your lovers shall fall by the sword, and your mighty in the war.  And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground with nothing.” Isa 3:15-26.

My bride is pure in heart and not divided between opinions.  My Father only is her Guide, and Husband, and she does not follow after men and seek to bear the offspring of men.  She only bears my Son and gives birth to my Offspring.  The truth only, will finally stand and remain.  The desires of mankind will all pass away.  They were only a smoke and an enticement, but they were never real.  My bride knows the truth, and is not enticed away from it.  My children are ever watchful, and their thoughts and feelings are always in the light.  I listen to their desires, and I ever watch to fulfill their entreaties.  The earth, I have left desolate, and it will not know me forevermore. The earth cannot be brought to conviction, but it only resides in the residue and grease of apostasy.  I am through with it.  I am through with it forever, and so are those who are ascending with me.
