The “Poor Jeff” Lie

By Jeff Bent | Wednesday, December 19, 2007
Poor Jeff

About two thirds of the way through the film Michael and Christianna are being interviewed by Ben Anthony in the bedroom of Michael's house. With Eddie in there also with his microphone, there wasn't room for me, so I waited in the hallway (these houses are small). I sat down Indian-style on the floor, and after a while I got tired of sitting upright without something to lean back on, so I rested my head against the wall. The interview went on for some time and I waited in the hallway with my head resting against the wall, listening to the interview. I thought I was out of sight and I was never aware I was being filmed. Ben never told me he had filmed me, and never asked me how I was feeling. Ben used this footage as powerful leverage to get the viewers to accept—through their emotional channel—the notion of a suffering victim. It was a compelling image within the context of the film, but it was a lie and a trick to deceive the viewer. I was just resting, waiting for them to finish up.

After the interview was over, everyone went into the front room where Ben continued to interview Michael and Christianna. At one point Ben turned the camera to me, and asked me how the Consummation affected me. I gave my answer, which is recorded below. Ben didn't use any of my answer. It would have certainly given a much different impression than what was conveyed in the footage of me leaning my head against the wall.

You must have Flash installed and Javascript turned on.

(Zion is Christianna's new name. Some of my friends call me Benjamin.)

I felt perfect freedom as I shared my testimony about my sacrifice, and I thought it would help the viewer understand how a man could give up his wife to Messiah, so she could be saved. Michael and I embraced, and I gave him a peck on the lips. Anyone would have understood that things are very well between Michael and I. I am sorry that none of it was used, and a scary, warped fabrication was left in its place.

After listening to the recording above, can the reader honestly say that this was the same person ready to have a breakdown a few minutes before? If not, then the reader must accept that he/she was deceived, and that this film is a lie.

Because of this lie, there is a notion floating around that I am a victim of my father, Michael Travesser, and that I need to be "saved" from Strong City before I hurt someone. People who believe such nonsense should go to the mirror and say, "I have taken the bait, hook, line and sinker. My mind is controlled by my television set." After this is understood, we can discuss the truth about how things really are here. The truth of the matter is, I am as responsible as Michael Travesser for the events that have occurred within Strong City. There are no victims here.

Not only is the picture of you leaning your head against a wall very carefully placed in the documentary, but the music playing simultaneously is placed carefully as well.

I was once at a meeting where a dozen or so people had gathered.  The meeting hadn’t come to order yet, and the people were standing around talking with each other.  The person prepairing to lead the meeting was quietly playing a guitar.  I was sitting next to him, and he very softly told me to watch what he would do.  Then, he simply changed the cord he was playing on his guitar, and continued to quietly play it.  I watched as the people, seemingly hypnotically, ended their conversations, and quietly found a seat, and focused attentively on the man playing the music.  The man playing the music simply put down his guitar and quietly said to the people, “Let’s pray.” Kind of spooky, isn’t it?  Know one had a clue what just happened to them.

I know Jeff, and yes, the “Poor Jeff” lie is very much a lie.

I find this truly astonishing!!! How can one man be so manipulative and be allowed to be - you may say that they said the same about Jesus (the true messiah and that nobody believed him) - I say that if you truly are the messiah you would be delivering the values of peace, love and understanding not sleeping with underage gilrs and leading other youngersters astray - now you can read this and remove it - but this just reinforces the theatrical approach of this group of people. By taking away any criticism you are only subjecting people to what you want them to hear - this sounds like a dictatorship to me. I am frankly disgusted and find you a cruel, dirty, ignorant little man who craves power and power that he cannot have.

Ryan, Jesus was quite a controversial figure in his day and by the time they killed him, most felt he deserved it.  He “desecrated” the laws of Moses, spoke against the temple, humiliated the Jews by telling them to submit to their occupiers, and to top it all off, he allowed himself to be crucified on a Roman cross—all the while claiming to be the Messiah.  He was gut-wrenchingly offensive to the Jews.  I understand your point of view, but your imagined Jesus who brought “peace, love and understanding” simply never existed.

Please - Jesus never ‘deserved’to die -but he did so to save mankind and enter the kingdom of heaven - he did not make claims about theend of the world and most certainly did sleep with young women.

He was far from imagined for me and I would like to think I could understand your point of view but find that impossible as the man you people choose to follow has taken away your right to be independent and have choice and your right to be respected as an individual and I want you to think about that - I really do.

Ryan, I have full freedom here, as does everyone else.  There are no chains on anyone here.  You have a picture that is inaccurate, and I hope you can find the openness of mind to consider that.

I didn’t say Jesus “deserved” to die, but many felt that he did.  You have offered your judgments here, which come from the same spirit of reaction that the Jews had toward Jesus. “We were not born of fornication.” “You have a devil.” You are doing the same thing right now.

Jesus did predict the end of the world.  You don’t seem to be familiar with the scriptures. Read Luke chapter 21.  It came 37 years later when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem.  That was the end of the Jewish world.  The mothers were eating their children because of the siege, and not one stone of the temple was left upon the other.  It was all foretold, just as Michael has foretold the end of our present world.

Or you can bow before the Father and accept His consumation just as I did when He told me to do what I just told you to do. Just as you must recieve the cross of the son of man, you asuredly must recieve Michael’s consumation for there is none other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. I have not been with Michael to be brainwashed. Father came and did it to me Himself

Ryan:  You seem to be addressing me.  You accuse me of a dictatorship.  You accuse me of taking people’s right away to be independent.  You accuse me of sleeping with underage girls.  You accuse me of cruelty.  Your accusations seem very odd to me.  Why do you make them?

I have never slept with an underage girl.  I have always allowed people to do what they wanted and urged that.  If they did not love peace and freedom, I have encouraged them to go to your world, where there are wars, policemen, armies, torture, and slavery.  People are far more independent here than in your world.  I do not hover over the people, forcing them to do things.  Some of the people here I rarely see.  We are not having meetings, so just how am I supposed to be pulling off this force against people’s freedom.  I have no policemen, body guards, or enforcers.  Just how is this little old man, alone in his little house, supposed to be pulling off this great dictatorship?  Please, I am interested to know.

I have had young women ask to lie naked with me.  Would you suggest I call the Sheriff and have them arrested? Would you have had them arrested?  I felt the best course was to simply bear the request.  I knew God had ordered it.  God ordered it to upset you and your world of hypocrisy.  But don’t you think that before you make charges, you should at least get the facts straight first?

You say that Jesus was good, and that I am bad.  I don’t think the Jews would have agreed with you on that.  They would not even agree now.  They call Jesus a devil possessed wretch, and other words I will not repeat here.

Do you think I deserve to die?  Please, tell me my crime.  But support your charges with real events, and not just your imagination.

Dear John,

Greetings and Shalom.  I want you to know how much I love you.  We have been friends since our childhood, and until you ran off and got yourself deceived, we used to have some real good times together.  I never belonged to this group you are following, as your grandmother once did, but it doesn’t take a wise man to see where you are headed.  I have talked to many of these followers of Jesus; some of them are relatives of mine.  I have given careful thought to what they said, but it is simply untrue.  I will explain, so that even an idiot could understand, if he would.

First of all, these followers of Jesus are not according to the Scriptures.  I will quote one of the Scriptures to you. “The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken.” Deut. 18:15.  Moses clearly instructed that the one who was to come and be our Messiah, was like unto himself.  He said, “Like unto me.” Now listen John, was this Jesus man, like unto Moses?  No, he was not.  Moses didn’t go sneaking around hiding from people at night.  He went right into Pharaoh, who enslaved the Jews as the Romans have, and stood up to him real plain and upfront.  When Pharaoh didn’t do what God said, Moses called down judgments on him.  Did Jesus do that?  No.  He went into Pilate and got put right where false prophets belong.

The Scriptures plainly say that the people of Israel would be delivered and be the pride of the earth when Messiah appears.  All Jesus brought his followers was a bunch of trouble.  Just look.  Saul, one of the chief Pharisees, said he was converted to this man, and what happened to him?  He had to go slithering down a city wall in a basket because he was afraid of a few Jews.  Now tell me, get real honest with yourself, Does that look like Moses?  When Moses saw a light in the bush, it made him powerful and indestructible to his enemies.  Saul goes running off when “he found God” but Moses went right out and confronted his foes and won the battle.  This new deliverer has made his followers a bunch of fearful fanatics.

Look, John, lets get real.  We have known each other a long time and I am writing to you this way to try and save you from your illusions and delusions.  Jesus showed what kind of man he was.  He told people that he came to break up families.  He admitted this.  Jewish families have been the strength of our nation, and this Jesus wants to break them up.  Did Moses go around breaking up families?  No, the laws Moses gave were made to strengthen families and make them stand on a solid foundation.  These followers of Jesus go around “feeling” things and “seeing” things.  They don’t know anything about stability.

Jesus said to some of those listening, “You must drink my blood and eat my flesh.” Now tell me, just where in the Scriptures does it say we have to drink a man’s blood or eat his body?  Oh, I know, you say that he didn’t mean that, but he could have meant nothing else.  He said exactly what he meant.  John, that is very weird.  Your blood cult is not funny.  People get hurt when they join your cult.  Cannibalism is certainly condemned in the Scriptures, and this Jesus clearly defends the practice.  I know why they couldn’t find Jesus when he raised, it was because his followers ate him.  This cult is downright spooky.  His followers talk about Jesus being “in them.” I have no doubt about that.

Remember what they say happened at Pentecost?  Think of it.  A group of his followers said they saw Jesus after he had died.  “He appeared to us.” Everyone knows that it is condemned in the Scriptures to have anything to do with familiar spirits.  These people all go into a house and fast and have a seance for 10 days.  At the end of ten days a strange fire appears in the room.  The pagans talk of things like this in their seances, also.  You know very well that if anyone spends 10 days in a dreamy “praying” state, and they are lacking food, they are bound to see something strange show up.  The religion of devils has this happen all the time.  You know this.  Jesus brought pagan thought and practice right into our nation, and now there is much confusion everywhere.  Some of these Christians even speak of a virgin birth of their Messiah.  Pharaoh’s religion had a virgin birth in it also.  It was Isis.  You know this.  Some of our best men are trying to bring about a revival and cleanse the nation from its confused elements and from the pagan Romans, also.  We need a leader as the Scriptures said, a leader like unto Moses, and not like this man who brought only trouble and confusion to our people.

10. January 5th at 6:33 PM

We all know that if a man is not of God, that his movement will come to nothing, and if a man is of God he will prosper.  This Jesus clearly did not prosper.  He was executed while he was still young.  His followers don’t prosper either.  They lose their jobs, their friends and their family.  This Jesus gets you killed.  That is hardly prosperity.  Jesus gets you into drinking blood and eating people, and Jesus makes one a coward so that one must go sneaking around everywhere, hiding from those who do not like him.  Jesus even told his followers that if they chase you in one city, run off to another city and spread your stories.  If God were truly with these people they would not have to run anywhere.

Finally, John, consider Jesus’ own little group.  One of his best and most trusted disciples knew he was a fake.  He betrayed him to his enemies and took a bribe for it.  When one knows that someone is truly the Messiah, that one will never betray him.  One betrays one when he knows the one he is following is fake.  So, to show the cult-like nature of this Jesus, the one who betrayed him ran right out and hanged himself.  Now that is spooky, John.  You have to admit it.  Cross this man up and he puts a hex on you. Your religion is just plain weird, spooky and cowardly.

Come back to God, John.  If you will repent of all this, God will forgive you.  God will make a strong man of you and He will help you become stable and thoughtful.  We are waiting for a true Messiah, like unto Moses, and not one like unto Pharaoh.  We are looking for a man who is truly a deliverer, and not one who twists the mind around to think things that the Scriptures do not say.

Jesus talked about this “kingdom” that is “in you”.  Oh, sure, and he puts a lot of other things in you, too.  He makes you “see things” and “feel things” and who knows what else?  Our religion is not like that.  We know the Scriptures and we follow them carefully.  Your religion follows only what “God told you.” Oh, sure, and the pagans have god tell them things, also.  You speak of miracles.  Miracles are a dime a dozen and even devils can do them.  They prove nothing.  There are many magicians and witches who work miracles all the time and some of them have to be dispatched so they don’t lead truly faithful followers astray.  This is why they had to kill Jesus.  He was a deceiver. People go a little weird when they get into this Jesus thing.

We are the true church, John, and we have a history of all of God’s greatest men.  Think of Samson, and Gideon.  Samson was no coward, and neither was Gideon.  Samson was a terrorist to his enemies and gave his life as a martyr to take out a bunch of them when he died. Think of king David.  Think of Isaiah, and Jeremiah, Hosea and Ezekiel.  God is with us.  His Messiahs deliver into the glories and the righteousness of God.  They do not promise what they cannot deliver, as your Messiah does.  There is Christian blood everywhere, and I don’t want you to have yours spilled so unnecessarily. It is such a pitiful waste.

John, you were told that this Jesus raised from the dead.  That greatly influenced you.  Did you see him after he “raised from the dead?” No, you didn’t.  This story was concocted by a few of his disciples because they ended up eating crow.  They thought he was the Messiah we were all looking for, and it turned out he wasn’t a Messiah at all.  They needed this concoction to save a little of their very embarrassed faces.  Don’t fall for this stuff.  That group is always talking about signs and wonders, and seeing Jesus “on the right hand of God”, and all that stuff.  I looked up and I didn’t see any Jesus on the right hand of God, or anywhere else.  I just saw a big hoax on a lot of simple people who never did learn to think for themselves.  Give it up, John.  When you get your feet on the ground and get back to normal, you will see what I am saying.  We don’t live with our head in fantasies of the mind, we live in a very real world and not the one you are now in.

I love you, John.  Remember how it used to be and come back.  We had such a good time together, singing songs of Zion, and listening to the elders tell us of how God has been with us.  Our feasts are full of singing and joy.  Our families are close and devoted to each other, and to the Scriptures, and not like your “Christian” families are.  Come back to the truth and don’t follow this fake anymore.  Jesus knew very well he was deceiving the people.  It is how he made a living.  He made a living off of his ignorant followers.  Don’t be one of them.

Your good friend,
Joshua

W.L.  Well, at least Jesus didn’t kill a lot of his followers.  He didn’t sic snakes on his own friends when they were having a hard time.  Moses didn’t deliver on his promise either.  He promised them a new house and then gave them dust to eat for 40 years.

Jesus and Moses both seemed to have their downside, but at least no underage girls asked to lie with them.  That would have been the last straw, I think.

Ryan:  Good point.  And what does your society do with them?  Your society puts them in their training factories, called schools, and everyday they are taught how to be good slaves.  I have not done that here.  I have told the weakest to follow God’s Voice and do what He says to them.  I have given them freedom.

Your lie of convincing doesn’t work anymore becaulse I like saul of tarsus was just a few days an enemy to Michael’s Truth. I came against Him with such vehement zeal. There was none like it before. Father Himself, Not the man you are trying to slander, broke me on the rock of His consumation Himself. So your lies have no efect here anymore.

Ryan: Yes, I received my masters degree in a university.  Now, some of our youngest children read and write better than I do.  Our young ones have life, and they have work too, and this is their fun.  I have been in your world, and I have seen how the youngest and weakest are destroyed by peer pressure, competition, and vain display of themselves.  They lost the ability to love because of it.  When one finds God, they find themselves, and this is the true life for anyone.  I can speak from experience Ryan.  I know what I am talking about.

When I was in your world, in the navy, I went to Hong Kong.  You may know were that is.  We hired the boat people to paint our aircraft carrier.  Then we paid the peasants with our garbage from the mess decks.  I determined to have a higher existence than that, and to teach others to have it also.

I had not spoken to Michael or any of His followers for 3.5 years at least. Other than my exwife and daughter to pay child support. I lashed out to both of them too with every vile thing that could be concockted by a mind lacking the presence of Father. I am proud to say My lovely daughter of 13 is a happy bride of Michael.
